After spending 8 years installing and repairing various brands of taximeters, it was easy to see that the world was ready for a new, up-to-date, problem-free taximeter.

First, all the taximeters I worked on were bulky and unattractive. That’s not what you want to see in an age where ‘small and beautiful’ is where ‘it’s at.’ 

Second, they were difficult to install and calibrate. And thirdly, they were expensive.

This was a great opportunity to inject some fresh thinking into this industry. So we developed our own taximeter in 2009. A year later, our first demo was tested in the market. Between 2010 and 2013, we have installed almost 1000 problem-free taximeters, still working flawlessly in Canada and USA.
