With some taximeters, you could experience problems right from the start. You may notice that your Engine Check Light is on, or your taximeter just isn’t working properly once you’ve installed it. Our MT-10 taximeter has just what you need to prevent any problems once you’ve installed it -- a built-in pulse driver! So, unlike most types of taximeters in the market, you don’t have to worry about the extra cost of an external pulse driver.

Here are some of the more common problems you may experience with competitive taximeters -- problems that could have been eliminated with a proper pulse divider:

1. In some extreme cases, because of an improper pulse divider, the Engine Check Light may indicate that the transmission is damaged.

2. You were not able to program the taximeter because the vehicle had a very high pulse value. Most taximeters have a limited pulse value to be programmed.

3. The taximeter was working fine at a lower speed, but not at a higher speed.

4. The taximeter was working fine at a higher speed, but not at a lower speed.

5. Even after you turned the taximeter to time-off and stopped the vehicle, the meter continued to run.

The iElectron Pulse Divider MD-10 was designed to solve all those problems:

1. The extremely low signal load means the impact to the vehicle circuit is limited to the minimum.

2. By setting the proper jumper, the vehicle pulse value could be reduced up to 32 times before it is fed to the taximeter.

3. Special circuit designs allow our pulse dividers to process all types of VSS signals and filters off the noises as well. This ensures the taximeter is working properly, and at any speed.

Please note: Do NOT connect any pulse dividers/VSS conditioners to the iElectron MT-10 taximeters. Our MD-10 pulse dividers were made for taximeters that require external pulse dividers.
